The Grand Opening of the first 100% permanent supportive housing development in San Jose was a celebration to remember:
The story of the development and its residents was covered by ABC, NBC, CBS, FOX, and stations on both AM and FM radio.
It was also covered in the written press by the Silicon Valley Business Journal, San Jose Spotlight, Mercury News, and Evergreen Times (page 11).
We are proud of this development and all of the partnerships that made it successful. More than 150 chronically homeless people now have a permanent place to call their own, in the heart of San Jose.
But, as Chuck Robbins so appropriately said in his speech, "I am incredibly happy, and completely unsatisfied, because we have so much more to do."
