Betty Ann Gardens

This development provides 76 one, two and three bedroom flats on a 3.87 net acre site, which runs along the banks of the Penitencia Creek, a riparian preserve in San Jose’s Berryessa District. It is located near local shopping and incorporates a transit stop along King Road at the project’s entry. All units have a private balcony. On the first floor, fenced courtyards create direct access to the Community Building and grass/play area. Each unit has it’s own gas fueled hydronic heating and air conditioning system with all gas, “energy star” appliances. Flooring is linoleum in the kitchen and bathrooms and recycled content “Interface” carpet squares in the living room and bedrooms. Cabinets are “medite” with no-VOC, water-based varnish finish.

COMING SOON

FCH is resident-centered in all we do. With that mission in mind, Betty Anne Gardens will soon be undergoing renovations. The focus will be on rehabilitating exterior finishes/building envelope, including significant rehabilitation of interior units which will provide residents with safe and healthy living spaces for many more years to come. Upgraded energy efficient appliances, water heating, and new lighting will decrease property energy use and provide savings to residents. Resident amenities, including the refreshed community room, a new transit hub, and a community garden round out this planned renovation of this 100% affordable housing for families.
