In Development
Below, you can see some of our upcoming development projects. These projects are all designed for their unique neighborhoods. We continue to develop buildings all across the Bay Area. We aim to make the projects sustainable, transit-oriented, and a place that our residents can call home.
The Magnolias
First Community Housing is currently in the pre-development stage of this project. We expect construction to begin in 2022. Please check this page in late 2024 when we expect the building to be nearing construction completion. The Property Management company managing the complex will begin offering applications to prospective residents about 6 months before construction completion. This project is still in development as of October 2023.
ROOSEVELT PARK APARTMENTS
The Roosevelt Park Apartments site is located at 21 N. 21st Street, toward the western end of the Roosevelt Park Urban Village. The property, which is currently vacant, sits just north E. Santa Clara Street and is surrounded by the indoor batting cages, Roosevelt Park, and Roosevelt Community Center. With the Rapid Bus 522 Corridor only steps away, the site has excellent access to high quality public transportation. This project is still in development as of October 2023.
Orchard Gardens
Orchard Gardens will offer many spaces; 47 units will be offered to people earning a maximum of 30% of the area median income. Another 15 units will be priced at 40% AMI, 26 units will be priced at 50% AMI, and 33 units will be priced at 60% AMI. The 72-foot structure will yield 115,800 square feet. Of the 93 residents, there will be 4 studios, 70 one-bedrooms, 15 two-bedrooms, and 4 three-bedroom units. This project is still in development as of October 2023.
